Ivanka pri Dunaji
Ivanka pri Dunaji is a municipality in Slovakia.
Location
It is located in the Danube lowland near the river Blatina, on the border with City of Bratislava (the center is 12 km away).
The place Farná ( German Pfaff village, Hungarian Papfa ) belongs to the municipality since 1932.
History
At the 1209 for the first time mentioned in writing as Iwand place. The village belonged until 1918 to the Hungarian county of Pressburg. The Slovak Milan Rastislav Stefanik politician died on 4 May 1919, when his Caproni about 33 crashed near the town of Ivanka pri Dunaji.

Ivanka has a break point on the railway line Bratislava -Budapest. Immediately to the west is the Bratislava airport, which is sometimes named after the place.
