Ivi Adamou

Ivi Adamou ( Ήβη Αδάμου; born 24 November 1993) is a Cypriot singer. She was chosen as the representative of Cyprus for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan.

Career

She was known for her participation in the second season of the talent show The X Factor in Greece, Giorgos Theofanous where was her mentor. Adamou 2010 received a recording contract with Sony and released their debut EP Kalokairi Stin Kardia, which was awarded a gold record. That same year she collaborated with the Spiros Lambrou Choir - and publish the Holiday EP Tin Ivi Adamou Christougenna Me, which was released abroad as Ivi Adamou Christmas with. The record sold 50,000 copies in Portugal. Ivi Adamou was determined by the Cypriot television CyBC as the representative of the country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. In a small preliminary show was decided that they took with the book written by Alex Papaconstantinou, Bjorn Djupström, Alexandra Zakka & Viktor Svensson song La, La, Love in the first semi-final on 22 May 2012. In Sweden, her song was successful in the finals her Sweden were already 12 points and her song reached number 16 in the first week and the following week in sixth place in the charts.
