Ivo Knoflíček

Ivo Knoflíček ( born February 23, 1962 in Kyjov ) is a former Czech football player and coach. He played 38 times for the Czechoslovak national football team and participated in the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

Career

In his youth he played for BANIK Šardice, Zbrojovka Brno and Olomouc. 1981 sought Slavia Prague a new striker and found him in Ivo Knoflíček. Between 1982 and 1984 he completed his military service at Red Star Cheb, then he returned to Slavia Prague. In the 1984/85 season he was top scorer with 21 goals.

In September 1983, he had given his international debut in the 0-0 draw in Switzerland.
