Iyasu III.

Iyasu III. or Jesus III. († April 24, 1788 ) was dated 16 February 1784 to April 24, 1788 to Negus Nagast ( Emperor ) of Ethiopia and a member of the Solomonic dynasty. He was the son of Abeto Azequ and the grandson of Iyasu II.

Iyasu came thanks Ras Abeto to the throne. His four -year reign was disturbed by feuds between Wolde Selassie, Ras Khalyu and others. One of the governors deposed Iyasu, who died shortly afterwards of smallpox.
