Izabella Yurieva

Isabella Danilovna Jurjewa (real name: Liwikowa ) (. . Russo Изабелла Даниловна Юрьева; * 26 Augustjul / September 7 1899greg in Rostov-on- Don, † 20 January 2000, Moscow) was a Soviet Estraden singer ( alto voice ) and people's Artist of Russia ( 1992).

She was one of five children in a Jewish family of craftsmen. Her father, Daniil Grigorjewitsch Liwikow, was a master of theatrical hats; the mother, Sofia Isaakowna, wigs - maker.

From 1920 she met in Petrograd at the pianist and composer AW Taskin. Her debut was in 1922 in the movie " Kolisej ", where Isabella Jurjewa recited some songs, including the song " Impoverished " by A. Aljabjewa and P. Beransche.
