Izaute

The Izaute is a river in France, which runs in the Midi-Pyrénées region in the department of Gers. It springs from the same hamlet L' Izaute, in the municipality of Dému, drained generally in a northerly direction through a weakly populated area and ends after 38 kilometers at the time Torrebren, in the municipality of Labarrère as a right tributary to the Gélise. At its mouth the Izaute encounters the neighboring department of Lot- et- Garonne in the Aquitaine region.
