Ä°zmir Demirspor

Izmir Demirspor is a football club from the western Turkish province of Izmir. The team currently plays in the regional amateur league Izmir 1 Amatör Lig, which is the seventh league.

History

The club was founded in 1955 in Izmir.

When the Milli Lig (now the Süper Lig ) was founded in 1959, the club played in Izmir Mahalli ligament at the end of the season they became champion, so you could take part in the rise of games in the first league. Here, however, could not prevail against strong competition and so missed the promotion to the top Turkish league.
