Izolda Barudžija

Izolda Barudžija (* 1963 in Split) is a Serbian pop singer.

Izolda studied journalism and political science at the University of Belgrade.

She was a singer in the girl group Aska and took part in 1982 in the Euro Vision Song Contest for Yugoslavia. A year later she was with her ​​sister Eleonora backing vocalist for singer Daniel and occupied the 4th place. In 1984 she sang a duet with Vlado Kalember the pop song Ciao Amore for Yugoslavia at the Concours Euro Vision Song Contest 1984 in Luxembourg. They reached only the penultimate place.

Barudžija moved in 2001 with her husband Zlatko Manojlovic, a Belgrade guitarists to Germany. Since then she has worked as a singing teacher and choir director, including in Mannheim, Dusseldorf and Bottrop. The couple has a son and lives in Essen.
