Izumi Matsumoto

Izumi Matsumoto (Japaneseまつもと 泉, Matsumoto Izumi, born October 13, 1958 in Toyama prefecture, Japan) is the stage name of Japanese mangakas Kazuya Terashima (寺 嶋 一 弥, Terashima Kazuya ).

His career began in 1982 when he published his manga Milk Report (ミルク ☆ レポート) in the magazine Fresh Jump. The real success, however, came in 1984, when he published his hugely successful Kimagure Orange Road in the same magazine.

Kazushi Hagiwara worked as an assistant with him.
