J to tha LO: The Remixes is the first remix album and it is the third album release by American singer Jennifer Lopez. It was released in the U.S. on 5 February 2002 on Epic Records. It was the first remix album in history, which debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 album charts.

Background

The remix album sold in the United States in the first week over 156,000, making it one of the most successful remix albums of all time. 2004 Album of the Guinness World Records as the most successful remix album of all time was excellent. The album sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide and was the best selling remix album by Michael Jackson's Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix and Madonna's You Can Dance.

Three singles were released: Is not It Funny ( Murder Remix), I'm Gonna Be Alright (Track Masters Remix) and Alive. The Metro remix of Walking on Sunshine was a radio hit, just like Waiting for Tonight (Hex 's Momentous Radio Mix). Both songs sang Lopez New Year's Eve 2010 in Times Square.
