J. B. Holmes

JB Holmes ( born April 26, 1982 in Campbellsville, Kentucky) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR. His first name is John, but he prefers to be called JB.

After a very successful amateur career, at the end of the winning team of the United States, he was standing by the Walker Cup in 2005, Holmes was in the late summer of that year professional golfer. He won in the fall of the PGA Tour qualifying tournament (Q- School) and thus won eligible to play for the North American big tournament series. At his first appearance he managed a tenth place finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii in February 2006 - it was the fifth start - Holmes won the FBR Open at.
