J. K. Simmons
Jonathan Kimble " J. K. " Simmons ( born January 9, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American film and television actor.
Life
The 1.78 meter tall actor is married to Michelle Schumacher, with whom he has two children. He has a sister Elizabeth and a brother David, who is a Christian singer.
J. K. Simmons graduated from the Ohio State University. Since that time, he's a fan of the local sports teams.
He also trained as a film composer at the University of Montana, from which he was awarded in April 2002 with the Achievement Award.
J. K. Simmons has been involved in all parts of the Sam Raimi Spider -Man trilogy. Last in Spider -Man 3, he embodied again the boss of Peter Parker, a role for which he had to wear a wig. It was his fourth film under the direction of director Sam Raimi, according to The Gift - The dark gift, Spider -Man and Spider-Man 2 also with Tobey Maguire, he has now turned his fourth film together since The Cider contribution. In the third part of the Command & Conquer: Red Alert computer game series Simmons plays in the live-action movie cutscenes President of the United States of America. In Portal 2 by Valve, he assumes the role of mad Multi Millionäres Cave Johnson. One of his most famous roles was that of the Nazi Vern Schillinger in the HBO prison series Oz - hell behind bars, which aired from 1997 to 2003.
