J. Peter Robinson

John Peter Robinson ( born September 16, 1945 in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, England ) is a British composer, arranger, pianist and musician.


After studying at the Royal Academy of Music John Peter Robinson has worked as a pianist for Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice during the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Then he played and toured as a pianist for bands of Eric Clapton, Al Jarreau and David Bowie, with whom he The man who fell from the sky worked on the sci-fi movie. It should, however, take the mid-1980s until he composed his first complete autonomous film score with the action film Interceptor. From 1995, he also composed the music for the international action films of Jackie Chan, including already released movies like Police Story, Police Story 2 and Rumble in the Bronx, as well as the fact that Jackie Chan's First Strike and follow Mr. Nice Guy.
