J. R. Rotem

Jonathan Reuven " J. R. " Rotem ( born 1975 in Johannesburg, South Africa) is a music producer.


Red is an Israeli - Finnish descent, and came to South Africa to the world. He grew up in Toronto and now lives in Beverly Hills. Early on, he played the piano and enjoyed listening to classical music and rock music. Red attended the Berklee College of Music and studied jazz composition.

In 2006, Rotem his own label Beluga Heights; as the first artist he took Sean Kingston under contract. From then on he produced several songs for Sean Kingston, among others, Take You There, got the platinum. Rotem also collaborated with many other well-known artists such as Plies, Rick Ross, Leona Lewis, Iyaz, The Game, 50 Cent and Jason Derulo.


In most of bluefin produced songs you hear at the beginning of a change to a synthesizer voice that says: "YYYY JR " or at the end of a song "Beluga Heights ".
