Jaafar of Negeri Sembilan
Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Ja'afar ibni Almarhum Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, GCB ( born July 19, 1922 in sound; † 27 December 2008) was the tenth Yang di - Pertuan Agong ( King choice ) of Malaysia from 26 April 1994 to April 25, 1999 and the fourth of Negeri Sembilan Yamtuan Besar.
Youth and Education
Tuanku Ja'afar was the second son of Tuanku Abdul Rahman ibni Tuanku Muhammad Almarhum and the first son of four children of the middle-class woman, Dulcie Campbell or better known as Che ' Engku Maimunah binti Abdullah. The couple separated later.

Early career
During the Japanese occupation of Malaysia, Tuanku Ja'afar served with the State Office of Seremban and as District Officer of Rembau 1946-1947. Yang di - Pertuan Besar
Tuanku Ja'afar wanted to go to Japan to serve the Malaysian Embassy in this country, but was recalled by the Negeri Sembilan state government after the end of his half-brother, HRH Tuanku Munawir, the then ruler of Negeri Sembilan, in 1967.
