Jaap Barendregt

Jaap Barendregt ( born January 10, 1905 in Rotterdam, † February 16, 1952 ) was a Dutch football player.

Barendregt was active at Feyenoord Rotterdam in the 1920s and 1930s. The effective center-forward scored 196 goals for the club from Feyenoord 1925-1937 in 238 games. It is thus before Kees Pijl and Cor van der Gijp scorer for the club from the south of Rotterdam. With Feyenoord he was in 1928 and 1936 Dutch champion and 1930 and 1935 Cup Winners' Cup.

Despite his scoring prowess Barendregt were held to a single application in the national team - in his position at the time was no getting past to Bep Bakhuys, who scored 28 goals in his 23 internationals. In Barendregts the only game in Orange on March 17, 1929 both strikers were chosen; in the 3-2 friendly win at the Olympic Stadium Amsterdam against Switzerland Bargendregts not score while Bakhuys once met.
