Jabal al Gharbi District

Al- Jabal al - Gharbi (Arabic الجبل الغربي; Italian Gebel Garbi ) is a Munizip in northwestern Libya. The capital is Gharyan

It is located in the hinterland of the historical region of Tripolitania. The name means " Western mountains " and refers to the mountain Jabal Nafusa. It was at the last administrative reform of the municipalities Mizdah, Gharyan and the southern part of the Munizips Yafran after it had already existed in the 1990s.
