Jabbour Douaihy

Jabbour Douaihy (Arabic: جبور الدويهي; * 1949 in Zgharta, Lebanon ) is a Lebanese writer.

Life

Douaihy comes from a Christian Lebanese family. He studied comparative literature at the Sorbonne and currently teaches French literature at the Lebanese University in Beirut.

His novel morning of Wrath in 2008 was nominated for the Arab Booker Prize and has been translated into several languages ​​, in German it appeared in 2012.
