Jablonec, Pezinok District
Jablonec ( until 1948 also Slovak and until 1927 only " straw "; Halmesch German, Hungarian Halmos ) is a municipality in Bratislavskı Region in western Slovakia.
Geography
The place is located in the Danube lowland riverside Gidra and is located between the municipalities and Budmerice Cífer ( the latter in Trnavský kraj ) and is about 18 km from Trnava.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1342 as Zamol. The agriculturally oriented community belonged to the estate of Castle Red Stone. 1948 to Magyar sounding place name of national political reasons in the slowakisierten name Jablonec (Slovak Jablon = " apple tree") is changed.
