Jack Anglin
Jack Anglin (* May 13, 1916, † March 7, 1963 ) was an American country singer who is best known for his friend Johnnie Wright Johnnie and Jack.
Life
Jack Anglin grew up in Columbia, Tennessee. From his father he learned to play guitar. During a radio appearance he learned then Johnny Wright know, the future husband of Kitty Wells. Along with it he formed the duo Johnnie and Jack, with whom he has published numerous hit singles. The duo also appeared at the Grand Ole Opry and Louisiana Hayride in the.
Jack Anglin died on 7 March 1963 at the age of only 47 years in a car accident. Anglin was on his way to the funeral of Patsy Cline, Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins.
