Jack Collison

Jack Collison (2009)

Jack David Collison ( born October 2, 1988 in Watford, England) is a Welsh footballer. The midfielder is currently at West Ham United in the Premier League under contract and is also active for the Welsh national football team. He comes from the famous youth academy of West Ham United and can play almost any position in midfield.

Career

As a teenager, he played for Peterborough United and then at Cambridge United. After the dissolution of the youth department of Cambridge United, he had to leave the club. He got West Ham United at first an offer of a one-year scholarship. After he was able to convince, he was even captain of the reserve team of West Ham in 2007 /08. Then on 1 January 2008 he celebrated his debut in the Premier League after a Substitutes.

For the season 2008/ 09 Jack Collison then signed a five -year contract at West Ham United. Then he was able to complete some missions in the Premier League until it was announced on May 7, 2010 that he will undergo knee surgery, so he will be sidelined for about nine months.
