Jack Ferreira

Jack Ferreira ( born June 9, 1944 in Providence, Rhode Iceland ) is an American professional ice hockey official and former general manager of the NHL franchises of the Minnesota North Stars, San Jose Sharks and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Zurletzt he worked as director of scouting department of the Atlanta Thrashers. From 1963 to 1966, Ferreira goalie at Boston University.

Career

During his three years at the College from 1963 to 1966 Ferreira guarded the gate of Boston University, but decided early on against a Resume an active career in 1969 and took a one-year job as an assistant coach at Princeton University on. From 1972 to 1977 Ferreira worked at the New England Whalers in the World Hockey Association (WHA ), including as chief scout, assistant coach and assistant general manager. From 1980 to 1986 he was a scout of the Calgary Flames and 1986-1988 Director of the scouting department of the New York Rangers.
