Jack Jones (singer)

Jack Jones ( born January 14, 1938 in Los Angeles ) is an American pop and jazz singer and actor.

Artistic Career

John Allan "Jack" Jones grew up as the only child of actor and singer Allan Jones and actress Irene Hervey in the Los Angeles. There he attended the University High School, next to his father gave him acting and singing lessons. After leaving school he first took over odd jobs, working as a gas station attendant and started over Los Angeles also act as a singer in smaller clubs. In 1957 he was able to conclude a contract with the Los Angeles-based record label Capitol Records, where he recorded about six unsuccessful singles and an LP until 1959.
