Jack Kilpatrick

John "Jack" Kilpatrick (* July 7, 1917 in Bootle, United Kingdom; † 18 December 1989) was a British professional ice hockey player in 1936 with his compatriot Olympic champion among others.

Career

Jack Kilpatrick was at club level, among others, for the Wembley Lions in the English National League active, in which he played for two years. During this time, the attacker scored five goals and three assists.

Internationally

For UK Kilpatrick took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, where he won the gold medal with his team. The tournament was also counted as World and European Championships, which is why he also won with his team this title. At 18 he was the youngest Briton ever to win a gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games. He was inducted into the British Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993.
