Jack McCracken

Jack D. McCracken ( born June 15, 1911 in Chickasha, Oklahoma; † January 5, 1958 in Denver, Colorado ) was an American professional basketball player. He is considered one of the best amateur players of all time. McCracken was also known by the nickname "Jumping Jack" because of his striking big bounce. Between 1929 and 1932, McCracken played for the Northwest Missouri State Teachers College under coach Henry Iba and led his team to 43 wins in a series, as well as a perfect 31-0 record in the season 1929 / 30th McCracken was 1.88 m tall and played the position of forward.

1962 McCracken was added posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
