Jack Molinas
Jacob L. Molinas ( born October 31, 1931 † ( assassinated ) August 3, 1975 in Hollywood, California ) was an American professional basketball player and the central figure in the betting scandal that shook the NBA in the 50's and life-long locks for numerous players like Connie Hawkins ( lock later overturned ) led. Molinas was sentenced for his betting shops to ten years imprisonment, but was released after five years. Molinas was in contact to the New York Mafia boss Tommy Eboli.
