Jack Riggs

Jack Timothy Riggs (born 1954 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho ) is an American politician and physician. Between 2001 and 2003 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Idaho.

Career

The exact date of birth of Jack Riggs is not known. He studied until 1976 at the University of Idaho. After a subsequent medical studies at the University of Washington and his medical license, he began to work in this profession. Politically, he joined the Republican Party. For some time he was a member of the Senate from Idaho.

Following the resignation of Vice Governor Butch Otter, who was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, Riggs was appointed by Governor Dirk Kempthorne to succeed him. He exercised this office between January 2001 and January 6, 2003 30. In 2002 he was defeated in an attempt to re-election in the Republican primaries.
