Jack Starrett
Jack Starrett ( born November 2, 1936 in Refugio, Texas, † March 27, 1989 in Sherman Oaks, California ) was an American actor and director.
Starrett had his first appearance in the classic Western spoof Blazing Saddles in 1974, but rather, he was known for his role as a brutal sheriff's deputy Arthur Galt in the action film Rambo - First Blood.
Starrett had, among other guest roles in the known U.S. series Hunter, The A-Team and Knight Rider ( in which he portrayed three different characters ). Starrett died of kidney failure at the age of 52 years. He was married to Valerie Starrett and had a daughter, Jennifer Starrett, who was also active in acting field.
