Jack Straw

John Whitaker "Jack" Straw ( born August 3, 1946 in Buckhurst Hill, Essex ) is a British Labour Party politician. From June 2007 to May 2010 he was Lord Chancellor and Minister of Justice in the government of Gordon Brown.

Life

John Whitaker Straw was born in 1946 in Essex, where he lived in a council flat with his single mother.
