Jack Turner (racing driver)

Jack Turner ( born February 12, 1920 in Seattle, † 12 September 2004 in Renton ) was an American race car driver.

In the AAA National Series and the USAC series he went 1955-1962 35 times at the start. His best finish was second place at the race at Darlington in 1956. Six times he was with the 500 miles of Indianapolis at the start.

Since the 500 miles of Indianapolis also belonged between 1950 and 1960 Formula 1 World Championship, Turner also participated in four rounds of the World Cup. Points for the championship he could not achieve.

After a serious accident in training for the 500 miles 1963 Turner retired from racing.
