John Patrick " Jack" Underwood ( born August 12, 1894 in Hinckley, Minnesota, USA, † December 31, 1936 ) was an US- American football player. He played for the Duluth Kelleys / Eskimos, the Buffalo Bisons, the Pottsville Maroons and the Chicago Cardinals in the National Football League ( NFL).

Playing career

Jack Underwood signed in 1923 a professional contract with the Duluth Kelleys, who were coached by Joey Sternaman. 1926, the later members included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame John McNally, Ernie Nevers and Walt Kiesling of the team from Duluth, which was further renamed this year in Duluth Eskimos.
