Jackie Cain

Jackie Cain ( May 22nd, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as Jacqueline Ruth Cain ) is an American jazz singer.

Life and work

Jackie Cain in 1946 went to Chicago, where he met the pianist Roy Kral, with whom she has since worked and whom she married in 1949. 1948/49, and again in 1953 they played in the orchestra of Charlie Ventura, which they recorded for the GNP. This sat in his attempt to popularize bebop ( " Bop for the people " ), and Roy Kral their voice as bop singing (in unison form) in conjunction with the instrumental parts a.
