Jackie Lockhart

Jacqueline "Jackie " Lockhart, nee Steele ( born March 22 1965 in Lanark ) is a Scottish curler. She currently plays on the position of the third.

Career

Your first international success was Lockhart in 1983, when she won the silver medal at the Junior World Championships. In 1985, she then won the silver medal at the World Championships in Jönköping as second in the team of Skip Isobel Torrance.

As Skip Lockhart played the 1992 demonstration competition of the Olympic Winter Games in Albertville. Also as Skip celebrated her biggest success in the 2002 World Cup in Bismarck. Together with Sheila Swan, Katriona Fairweather and Anne Laird, she won the gold medal.

A big disappointment she experienced at the Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin. After a poor game against Norway, it was replaced by Deborah Knox. In the Mixed European Championships in the Italian Claut she played as a third in the team of Tom Brewster Skip. The team won the gold medal. To promote the sport curling, she posed nude in 2007 Ana Arce's "Fire on Ice" calendar.

In February 2010, Lockhart took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the British team. The team finished in seventh place.

Lockhart is married and has a daughter ( Kirsty ) and a son.
