Jackson County (South Dakota)
Jackson County is a county located in the state of South Dakota in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Kadoka.
Geography
Jackson County has an area of 4846 square kilometers, of which 5 square kilometers (0.11 percent) water. 57 percent of the area, the area south of the River White River, is part of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
It is divided into 16 townships: Grandview II, Interior, Jewett, Little Buffalo, Wall and Weta; and four unorganized territories: East Jackson, Jackson Northwest, Southeast and Southwest Jackson Jackson.
