Jackson-Gwilt Medal

The Jackson - Gwilt Medal (English: Jackson - Gwilt Medal ) is an astronomy prize of the Royal Astronomical Society.

The prize is awarded for the invention, improvement or development of astronomical instruments, or techniques, or for significant achievements in observational astronomy or for achievements in the study of the history of astronomy since 1897. The award is named after Hannah Jackson, born Gwilt.
