Jackson Lake

The Jackson Lake is a 103.4 square kilometer lake in Grand Teton National Park in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The lake lies at an altitude of 2064 m above sea level. M. is up to 134 meters deep, 25 kilometers long and 11.25 kilometer wide. Is fed to the lake from the Snake River. In 1911 the lake was artificially increased. Inhabited the lake trout, American Arctic charr, pike and salmon. In the lake there are also three islands Elk Iceland, Donoho Point and Badger Iceland.

The lake is named after David E. Jackson, a trapper of the 1820s, which has repeatedly wintered around the lake in the valley.
