Jackson Township is one of 14 townships of Clermont County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 2576 inhabitants were registered here.
Geography
Jackson Township is located in the northeast of Clermont County in southwest Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Wayne Township, Perry Township, Brown County, Sterling Township (Brown County), Williamsburg Township, Batavia Township and Stonelick Township.
Management
The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
