Jacob Friedrich Behrend (* September 13, 1833 in Berlin, † January 9, 1907; Jakob Friedrich Behrend, Behrend Jacob, Jacob Behrend ) was a German jurist and author of several legal standard works.

Life

Behrend studied in Berlin law. In 1859, he was a junior barrister. However, since he was more interested in an academic career, he habilitated in 1864 and was a lecturer at the University of Berlin.
