Jacob Micflikier

Jacob Micflikier ( born July 11, 1983 in Winnipeg, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Lugano of the National League A since October 2013.

Career

Beginnings in College Hockey

Jacob Micflikier began his career at the age of 18 years in the United States Hockey League in Sioux Falls Stampede. The team from South Dakota, where he was standing on the ice, among other things with the later NHL player Thomas Vanek, the left winger in his second season was internal team scorer. During his nine appearances in the American Hockey League, he could recommend for the following season and thus signed his first professional contract. However Micflikierin this season has been largely used in the East Coast Hockey League in Stockton Thunder. This was followed by the move to the Rochester Americans, where he signed a one year contract. Again, he was transferred to the Florida Everblades during the season in the ECHL, where the left winger was once named the League Player of the Week. His third season in the top minor league in the North American Hockey graduated from the Canadians at his third club, the Albany River Rats. This season he came to assignments with the Florida Everblades in the ECHL. Although he completed only 16 games for the team from Estero, he was both voted " Player of the Month November," as also nominated for the ECHL All- Star Game.
