Jacob Willemsz Delff

Jacob Willemsz. Delff, also Delft ( the Elder) (c. 1550 in Gouda, † May 5, 1601 in Delft) was a Dutch painter and engraver.

He was a gifted painter and mainly painted numerous portraits of famous personalities. Among his most famous works are the portrait of the officers of the shooting of 1592 and the self-portrait with family of 1590th
