Jacobo Zabludovsky

Jacobo Zabludovsky ( born 1929 in Mexico City) is a Mexican journalist.

Zabludovsky has interviewed people such as Salvador Dali, " Cantinflas ", Pope John Paul II, Bill Gates and Pablo Casals. Its outstanding journalistic achievements was the interview that he conducted on January 8, 1959, Che Guevara after his arrival in Havana. Another milestone is his account of the earthquake that destroyed large parts of Mexico City in September 1985 and nearly 10,000 people died.

Jacobo Zabludovsky was born in Mexico City in the Merced area. He studied law, but felt early on attracted to journalism. His career began in 1946 when broadcasting. From 1950 he worked for television. He created the first professional newscast Mexico. Over 27 years he has conducted and presented for Televisa, the " 24 horas " ( to German: 24 hours ), the most watched news program in the country. Today ( 2011) he writes, inter alia, for the daily newspaper " El Universal".
