Jacopo Sala

Jacopo Sala, 2012

Jacopo Sala (born 5 December 1991 in Bergamo ) is an Italian footballer who is currently at Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A under contract and can be used as a right midfielder, right back and central midfielder.

Career

Youth

He started at the amateur club ASD Virtus Oratorio Gazzaniga. Then he played for two years at UC AlbinoLeffeund fell in 2001 in the youth division of Atalanta Bergamo.

Chelsea FC

Sala comes from the youth of Atalanta, joined as a 15- year-old to Chelsea and became Chelsea's key players in the FA Youth Cup. In total he played from 2007 to 2009 43 times for the Youth team, where he scored eleven goals. In 2010 he won with his team the FA Youth Cup. In the 2008 /09 season Sala has also been used three times in the reserve team, before he became the 2009/10 season an integral part of the team. In 2011, Sala won with Chelsea the Premier Reserve League.

Hamburger SV

For the 2011/12 season Sala has been committed by German Bundesliga club Hamburger SV. He signed a three -year contract until 30 June 2014 and received the shirt number 22 at the beginning of the season suffered Sala a setback when he incurred a muscle tear in training bundle. His comeback in a competitive match, he gave 25 September 2011 in the 0-1 home defeat of the second team against the Halle FC. On October 25, 2011, he was at the game against Eintracht Trier in the DFB - Pokal for the first time in the 18 -man squad for a competitive match for the first team. However, he was not used in the 2-1 away win against the third division. On February 4, 2012 ( 20th Round ), he scored in the 1-1 draw at home against Bayern Munich, his first and so far the only Bundesliga. However, Sala could not prevail in the rest of the second half and in the 2012/13 season.

Hellas Verona

For the 2013/14 season Sala moved to his home to Hellas Verona. He signed for Serie A climber a contract until 30 June 2016.

National

Sala has been through all youth national teams of Italy and is currently National Player of the U- 21st
