Jacqueline Bisset
Jacqueline Bisset [ ˌ d͡ʒækəli ː n bɪsɪt ] (* September 13, 1944 in Weybridge, actually Winifred Jacqueline Fraser Bisset ) is a British actress.
Life
Bisset initially worked as a model. Her second role was in 1966 in Roman Polanski's movie When Katelbach comes ... who was in Berlin awarded the Golden Bear. At least with her starring role in François Truffaut's Day for Night (1973 ) she established herself in Europe as a movie star. She played with well known performers such as Dean Martin, Steve McQueen, Burt Lancaster, Paul Newman, Jon Voight, Marcello Mastroianni, Robert Shaw, Nick Nolte, Anthony Quinn, George Segal, Charles Bronson, Frank Sinatra, Albert Finney and worked with directors Sidney Lumet, George Cukor, John Huston and Claude Chabrol.
In addition to movies Bisset played with in television miniseries and television series, including Napoleon and Josephine. In 2005, she held while a supporting role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but was cut from the final version.
For her role in the television series Dancing on the Edge 2014, she was awarded the Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a miniseries.
Bisset is godmother of Angelina Jolie.
