Jacqueline Bracamontes

Jacqueline Bracamontes van Hoorde ( born December 23, 1979 in Guadalajara, Jalisco ) is a Mexican actress and model who was chosen as the Nuestra Belleza México (Miss Mexico) in 2001.

Biography

Jacqueline Bracamontes is the eldest daughter of the Mexican football coach Jesús Bracamontes and his wife Jacqueline van Hoorde, a Mexican woman with Belgian roots. She has a sister named Alina, and a brother named Jesús Junior.

During her school years she spent mostly in Guadalajara, she graduated in high school a year abroad in Connecticut to improve their English language skills. After graduation in 1998, she spent a year in France to enhance their French language skills. Now she speaks perfect French.

After returning from France, she completed a journalism degree at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente ( ITESO ) in her hometown of Guadalajara. During her studies she worked as a model and had several engagements on television.

Through one of her photos that appeared on the cover of a magazine, the organizers of the beauty contest Nuestra Belleza Jalisco ( Jalisco Miss ) were aware of them and invited them to participate. She won the title in 2000 and immediately took part in the finals in order to Nuestra Belleza México (Miss Mexico) in 2001, which she won. This makes them qualified for participation in the elections to the Miss Universe 2001 in Puerto Rico.

In 2002, she traveled on behalf of the members of the Televisa group Univisión Spanish-language U.S. broadcaster for the World Cup, where she worked as a sports journalist. In the same year she started acting and since then has been in several telenovelas ( TV series ) with.
