Jacques Bialski

Jacques Bialski ( born October 3, 1929 in Dunkirk, Nord, † June 10, 2013 ) was a French politician of the Parti Socialiste (PS ), who was among other things, more than 18 years as a member of the Senate.

Life

Originally from a 1921 coming from Poland immigrant family Bialski in 1953 a member of the Section Française de l' International ouvrière ( SFIO ) and 1966 secretary of the Party organization in Dunkerque. After the merger with Parti Radical Socialiste (PRS ) for the Parti Socialiste (PS ) in July 1969, he was secretary of the PS in Dunkerque and held this function for twenty years until 1989.

1974 Bialski was chosen for the PS as a member of the Regional Council of Nord-Pas- de -Calais. During this time, he was from 1981 to 1986 Vice- President of the Regional Council and as such responsible for economic affairs. He was also from 1981 to 2001 manager of the Autonemen port of Dunkerque and 1982-1985 member of the General Council of the Nord and took there the Canton of Grande -Synthe.

On April 1, 1979 his election was a member of the Senate and represented in this July 2, 1997, the Nord. During this he was 1983-1995 he bekleidetete the function of the Quaestors ( Questeur ) of the Senate.

Bialski, the Knight's Cross of the Legion of Honor was awarded and a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge Grand Orient de France was served between 1989 and 2001 as Vice - Mayor of Dunkerque, and as such was responsible for finance, major projects and work. At the same time, he was from 1989 to 2001 Vice- President of the Association of Municipalities ( Communauté Urbaine ) of Dunkerque and responsible in that capacity for work, coordination of investment, public procurement and markets.
