Jacques Carette

Jacques Carette ( born March 1, 1947 in Roubaix ) is a French former track and field athlete. At a height of 1.80 m his competition weight was 68 kg.

At the 1968 Olympic Games Jacques Carette difference in the 200 -meter run in the quarter- finals. With the French 4 x 400 - meter relay team he reached the finals, but then finished only eighth place.

The following year at the European Championships in 1969 he reached the finals in the 400 -meter run and was in 45.9 s fourth. He was more successful in the relay.
