Jacques Daret

Jacques Daret (* around 1404 in Tournai; ? † around 1468 in Bruges ()) was a Flemish painter.

He was with Rogier van der Weyden students at Robert Campin. In 1432 he became an independent master in the Guild of St. Luke in Tournai. Between 1446 and 1458 he is detectable in Arras. At the wedding of Charles the Bold, he worked on the festive decorations. From 1468 on, his name is no longer documented.
