Jacques de Lajoue

Jacques de Lajoue the younger, she also de Lajoüe and de La Joue II (* 1686 in Paris, † 1761 in Paris) was a French painter and decorator who is assigned to the rococo style.

Influenced by François Boucher (1703-1770) artists primarily created ornaments and architectural motifs. He was admitted in 1721 to the Académie royale de peinture et de sculpture in 1740 and gave a collection of prints with decorative rococo motifs titled " Paysage and Perspectives" (landscapes and perspectives) out.
