Jacques de Loustal

Jacques de Loustal alias Loustal ( born April 10, 1956 in Neuilly -sur -Seine ) is a French comic book artist.

Loustal studied architecture in Paris and learned while studying Philippe Paringaux know, with whom he has worked since 1980. In addition, he spent a long time in Africa, his military service he completed in Morocco. Loustal worked for the magazines Métal Hurlant and Pilote.

He received the 1997 Prix international de la Ville de Genève pour la bande dessinée for his book Kid Congo.
