Jade Barbosa

Jade Fernandes Barbosa (* July 1, 1991 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian gymnast.

Career

Barbosa won the 2006 national junior championships.

At the 2007 Pan Am Games, she was fourth. In the same year she won the bronze medal at the World Championships. In October Jade participated in the World Cup, where she won two silver medals, one in the jump and on the ground.

2008 World Cup in Cottbus, she won two gold medals, one jumping and one for the floor exercise. In May at the World Cup event in Moscow, she won the gold medal she had to share with the Russian Anna Pavlova.
